Our Blacksburg Roots
High Peak Sportswear came to Blacksburg in 1991, opening a retail t-shirt shop alongside our custom screen printing and embroidery business. We started on South Main Street in the downtown area and grew steadily from there. When an opportunity arose to move to College Avenue, we made the move — feeling that being closer to the VT campus would better serve our customers.
Our College Avenue location put us within easy walking distance of much of the VT campus and right in the heart of the college scene. Stepping Out and other festival-style musical events brought the energy of Blacksburg right to our doorstep — it was an exciting place to be. Today, we continue to serve Blacksburg and the New River Valley — supporting Virginia Tech organizations, local businesses, and the broader community from our Lynchburg production facility.
